  • 2 measuring cups or 300g long grain rice
  • 50 ml (3 tblsp) olive oil
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 red peppers
  • 400 ml chicken or vegetable stock.


Rinse the rice under running water.

Peel the tomatoes and remove the seeds.

Cut the red peppers into small pieces. Place the olive oil, chopped onion and rice in the bowl.

Stir well.

Add the tomatoes and peppers.

Add the chicken stock and season with pepper.

Lightly season with salt but take care not to add too much, especially if using stock cubes.

Cover with the lid and switch on.

The appliance with automatically switch to "keep warm" after about 16 minutes cooking.

Serve with tomato sauce and Parmesan cheese.
