  • 2 measuring cups or 300g Basmati or Thai rice
  • 400 ml chicken or vegetable stock
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 50g butter
  • Salt


Rinse the rice under running water. Place the butter, chopped onion, rice and stock in the bowl.

Lightly season with salt but take care not to add too much, especially if using stock cubes. Stir well.

Cover with the lid and switch on. The appliance with automatically switch to "keep warm" after about 16 minutes cooking.
