  • 1 teacup dried prunes
  • 1/2 teacup dried figs
  • 1,5 cup dried apricots
  • 1 cup dried raisins (total weight of dried fruits should be 675g
  • 1 cup chopped dates
  • 900 ml boiling water
  • 115g brown sugar
  • 1tsp (5 ml) cinnamon.


Wash the fruit well. Place the fruit, except the dates, in a large bowl and cover with boiling water. Leave to soak for 10 minutes. Remove trivet and basket. Place the fruit and soaking liquid in the pan.

Add sugar, and spices. Use pressure level 2. close lid and bring to full pressure. Cook for 15 minutes. Lift the cooker away from the heat, and to cool at room temperature without altering the pressure selector.

When the pressure indicator drops down, open the lid. Serve hot or cold.
