Compote of 3 Caramelized Apples

Ingredients
Casserole function:
- 4 pippin apples
- 4 Granny Smith apples
- 4 Canadian apples
- 60g (2 oz) butter
- 2 pinches of cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 pinch ginger
- 100g (4 oz) brown sugar
- 100g (4 oz) pine kernels
 

Peel the apples, deseed them and cut them into pieces of 2 cm of thickness.


Brown them in butter in the Astucio at position 3.


Add the cinnamon, vanilla, ginger, brown sugar and pine kernels.


Stir then cover and cook for 15 min at position 2.



Serve the compote either cold or warm with one ice-cream ball or 1 tbsp fresh cream.
