Ingredients
- 1 3/4 lb (785 g) brisket or silverside
- Water
- Salt and pepper
 

Weigh the joint and calculate the cooking time. Remove the trivet and place the joint in the cooker.


Half fill the pan with cold water. Add the salt and pepper.


Close the lid. Bring to full pressure and cook for 20 minutes per lb (450 g).


Once pressure has been reached, reduce pressure slowly.


Drain the meat immediately.
